Patrick-Twisdale

Patrick Twisdale is licensed to practice in states of North Carolina and South Carolina. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, the U.S. District Court of the Western District of North Carolina, and the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals. He is our resident Patent Attorney who assists clients, both individuals and corporations, in obtaining patent, trademark, and copyright protections. He also helps individuals and corporations defend their intellectual property protections in court, having appeared in Federal Courts and North Carolina Business Court, a specialized court in North Carolina involving complex and significant issues of corporate and commercial law.

Patrick was an EC Scholar at East Carolina University. He graduated magna cum laude with a BS in Biology, BA in Chemistry, BS in Biochemistry, and BA in Philosophy. Patrick attended Washington and Lee School of Law and obtained his admission to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office before he graduated. Patrick has worked with the US Patent and Trademark Office, an Intellectual Property Boutique firm, the Virginia Capital Case Clearinghouse, and North Carolina State University’s Office of Research Commercialization.

Patrick was born and raised in Charlotte, NC. He enjoys hikes with his wife and his two dogs, a Border Collie named Waggles and an Australian Shepherd named Pumpkin. He is an ECU and Notre Dame football fan.
