The Internship Experience
Our summer law clerk positions offer an unparalleled opportunity to dive into the heart of the legal field. As an intern, you’ll engage in a variety of tasks, including time in the courtroom, client meetings, drafting legal documents, conducting research assignments, attending mediations and depositions, and more. The dynamic nature of the work ensures that no two days are alike, giving you a taste of the real-world challenges and rewards of legal practice. This internship is available to 1L or 2L law students, enrolled at an accredited school of law.
Internship Goals
The King Law Summer Internship Program aims to help you:
- Gain practical legal experience.
- Acquire insight into various legal practice areas.
- Develop research and writing skills.
- Network with attorneys and other professionals.
- Prepare for a successful legal career.
Intern Outings
Throughout the summer, we’ll host various social events and team-building activities to ensure you get to know your colleagues and enjoy your time at King Law Offices. Whether it’s swinging some golf clubs at Top Golf or embarking on a refreshing morning hike, we want you to feel like an integral part of the team and have fun while doing so.
Internship Guidelines and Responsibilities
As an intern, you’ll be expected to uphold the following principles:
- Treat everyone with respect, including fellow interns, staff, and clients.
- Adhere to all outlined guidelines, procedures, and protocols, both from the manual and communicated by attorneys and staff.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards at all times.
- Exhibit punctuality and professionalism throughout your internship.
- Complete all assigned tasks and responsibilities efficiently and within specified timelines.
- Ask questions for clarification or additional information.
