How Do I Schedule A Consultation?

There are several ways to schedule a consultation with King Law. You may submit your request online by completing our Request for Consultation Form or sending us a chat request through the website. You may also call the office, toll free, at 888-748-5464 (KING).

What Is A Consultation Reservation Fee?

King Law does collect a $50 consultation reservation fee at the time of booking. Partners charge a $200 reservation fee. This fee allows us to block off time and reserve an appointment for you to speak with a member of our legal team. During the appointment you will be given an opportunity to discuss your legal matter and determine the next steps/action plan needed to achieve the best possible resolution. Our firm offers premium and professional legal services. The reservation fee is a small investment for peace of mind and understanding for what happens next. You will be given the cost of services during the consultation, after we learn more about your unique matter. When you make the decision to hire within seven days, the consultation reservation fee will be credited towards your retainer fee. The consultation reservation fee is earned immediately and not subject to refund unless required by the Revised Rules of Professional Conduct.

What Should I Bring To The Consultation?

Write down your specific questions and bring those to your appointment. Bring copies of any lawsuits that have been filed, previous agreements or court orders, previously executed wills or powers of attorneys, and financial documents that may be relevant to your situation. Each matter is different and this is only a suggestion of items that could be needed at your initial consultation.

How Do I Hire King Law To Represent Me?

During your consultation a member of our legal team will offer you a Client Engagement Agreement. This document will identify the cost to retain legal services of King Law. You will need to execute the agreement and pay the retainer to get your case started.

How Can I Make A Payment?

There are several ways to pay for your legal services at King Law. You can pay with cash, check, money order, or debit/credit card at any of our office location. Payments can be mailed to our main office at 215 N. Main St., Rutherfordton, NC 28139. Debit/credit card payments can be made over the phone or on our website. Financing options are also available to qualifying borrowers and details can be found our our website.

How Will I Be Billed?

The funds you pay will be deposited into the firm’s trust account and you will be billed hourly for the services provided. Our accounting team will provide you with a weekly billing statement showing the work performed on your case and allowing for pay-as-you-go. Your Client Engagement Agreement will include the minimum amount of money that needs to be on deposit with the firm for the duration of your case. All money on deposit is yours until it has been earned by King Law. Once your case is concluded, any unearned funds will be refunded to you.
