

Diane Ford is an estate & elder law attorney and a valued member of the Legacy Law team at King Law, serving clients from the firm’s Winston-Salem, North Carolina office in Forsyth County. As an elder law attorney, Diane is dedicated to helping individuals and families plan for the future, protect their assets, and navigate complex legal matters with confidence and care. She proudly serves clients throughout Forsyth County as well as in adjoining counties across the Piedmont Triad and surrounding areas.
As part of the Legacy Law team, Diane assists clients with a wide range of services, including estate planning, elder law, wills and trusts, advance healthcare directives, living wills, probate and estate administration, Medicaid and asset protection planning, and guardianships. In her role as an elder law attorney, she works closely with seniors, caregivers, and families to develop personalized legal strategies that address both immediate needs and long-term goals.
Diane is a proud graduate of Campbell University—twice over. She earned her bachelor’s degree in economics before continuing on to Campbell Law School to receive her Juris Doctor. While in law school, Diane was an active member of Campbell Law’s distinguished advocacy program, competing in both the National Civil Trial Competition and the Annual Duberstein Bankruptcy Moot Court Competition. She also served as President of the Black Law Students Association, where her chapter earned the coveted “Chapter of the Year” award among the southern region of black law students.
Originally from Brooklyn, New York, Diane’s journey has taken her to many places she now calls home. Before relocating to North Carolina, she attended The Milton Hershey Boarding School in Hershey, Pennsylvania—affectionately known as “The Sweetest Place on Earth.”
Today, Diane is dedicated to providing compassionate, knowledgeable representation as an elder law attorney to clients throughout Winston-Salem, Forsyth County, and neighboring counties. Whether assisting with Medicaid planning, preparing a will or trust, guiding a family through probate, or addressing guardianship needs, Diane’s focus is on delivering quality legal services that give her clients peace of mind. Outside of the office, she enjoys traveling to spend time with family, friends, and fellow alumni across the country.
