Alexis Medley is a law clerk, primarily serving King Law’s Asheville, North Carolina office, as well as the surrounding counties.
Alexis completed her Bachelor of Arts in both Criminology and Psychology at West Virginia University in 2017. After taking two years off, she then attended West Virginia University School of Law where she graduated in May 2022. Throughout law school, Alexis was the secretary of the Marlyn E. Lugar Trial Association, a member of the Women’s Leadership Counsel, a member of the Black Law Students Association (“BLSA”), a student attorney in the Family Law Clinic as well as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (“CASA”) Volunteer.
Alexis is originally from Piqua, Ohio where her 4 brothers and 1 sister still reside. Alexis recently moved to Buncombe County, North Carolina after graduating law school. When Alexis isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, friends/family, cooking, and watching true crime documentaries and sports.
