Our South Carolina offices have just received an Order from Donald W. Beatty, Chief Justice of South Carolina regarding Family Courts statewide. This order is a result of the Coronavisurs and recommendations from the CDC.
Language from the Order reads ” Family Courts statewide shall only hear emergency matters including, but not limited to, DSS, Emergency Protective Custody, Juvenile Dentition, Bench Warrants and Emergency Petitions for Orders of Protection from Domestic Abuse.”
