King Law Makes Foster Care Donation
Foster care children often come into care with only the clothes on thier back. Some bring a trashbag full of clothes, but not all. King Law’s attorneys are working daily with parents, children and DSS workers and our staff felt lead to make a differnce. King Law decided to make a donation to fosert care children.
King Law became aware of the need for socks by children in foster care with McDowell County Department of Social Services. Over the past week King Law reached out to local businesses, their employees, and fellow Chamber members to support a sock drive benefiting the foster care children. With a generous donation from Parker Legwear, King Law, and many of our employees, we were able to make a donation of socks to the McDowell County Department of Social Services. Becky Burleson with the department was very grateful to receive the socks and will distribute those to children in need.
