Tim grew up on a small farm in rural Pennsylvania, graduated from Point Park University (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) with a BS in Mechanical Engineering Technology, and had a previous career in product design, manufacturing, and management. He invented or co-invented nine U.S. utility patents for construction and sports equipment.
