Michael received his B.A. in Government and Public Policy from the University of Baltimore and later earned his J.D. at the Charleston School of Law. While in law school, Michael served three terms as a Student Bar Association Senator; two terms as the Regional Parliamentarian of the National Black Law Students’ Association’s Southern Region, was a member of the Moot Court, Trial Advocacy, and Judicial Boards; authored an article for Resolved: Journal of Alternative Dispute Resolution; and served as a law clerk for the Honorable J. Michelle Childs in the U.S. District Court of South Carolina.
Originally from Randallstown, MD, Michael now lives in Spartanburg, SC. In his free time, Michael enjoys hiking, weightlifting, reading, and classic movies
