Cam is originally from Charlotte, North Carolina. After obtaining his undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, Cam attended Campbell University School of Law.
While at Wilmington, Cam obtained experience working with several environmental non-profit organizations and participated in community volunteer efforts. It was during this time that Cam recognized the value in community and his passion to help others.
While in law school, Cam was elected as Secretary of the law school’s LAMBDA chapter. Additionally, Cam gained appellate experience after participating in Baylor Law School’s Academy of the Advocate in Saint Andrews, Scotland. Cam garnered additional experiences throughout law school that exposed him to a wide array of transactional law and family law. Cam furthered his interest in family law during law school, working as a student-intern at the Gailor Family Law Litigation Clinic in Raleigh, where he represented clients in matters spanning from child custody to separation.
Cam is a member of the 35th Judicial District and practices family law in Avery, Madison, Mitchell, Watauga, and Yancey County.
Cam recently moved to Boone and is excited to become more involved in the community. In his free time, Cam enjoys yoga, watching cult-classic movies, and spending time at the lake with his friends and family.
