Michael Glover is a Senior Associate in Gaffney, South Carolina. He focuses his practice on civil litigation including matters before administrative agencies and appeals. Michael is admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina, and serves as the 7th Circuit Delegate in the Bar House of Delegates.
Prior to joining King Law Offices, Michael served as a law clerk to the Honorable J. Michelle Childs in the District of South Carolina. In this role, he gained valuable experience researching and drafting legal memoranda on a range of issues including civil procedure, evidence, and prisoners’ rights.
Michael earned his Juris Doctor from the Charleston School of Law, where he was an active leader in the student community. He served three terms as a Student Bar Association Senator, two terms as the Regional Parliamentarian of the National Black Law Students Association’s Southern Region, and was a member of the Moot Court Board, Trial Advocacy Board, and Judicial Board. Michael also honed his legal writing skills, publishing an article in the Resolved: Journal of Alternative Dispute Resolution and receiving the CALI Award for Legal Research and Writing.
Before pursuing his legal career, Michael graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Public Policy from the University of Baltimore. He also gained management experience as an Operations Supervisor for a major medical logistics firm.
A native of Randallstown, Maryland, Michael now makes his home in the Upstate. Outside of his legal practice, he enjoys hiking, weightlifting, reading, and watching classic films.
