Stephanie Franks is the Chief Financial Officer at King Law, based in the firm’s Gastonia, North Carolina office. She oversees all financial operations, including budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in accounting functions. Stephanie collaborates closely with leadership to support strategic financial planning and decision-making.
With an extensive background in accounting and finance, Stephanie brings years of experience managing financial processes in the legal and other industries. Her expertise in financial management, compliance, and process improvement has been instrumental in driving operational efficiency and fiscal responsibility.
Stephanie earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance, with a minor in Paralegal Studies, from James Madison University in 1990. She later obtained her North Carolina Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license and her North Carolina Broker’s License.
A native of Concord, North Carolina, Stephanie has called Gastonia home for close to 30 years. She is an active member of Parkwood Baptist Church and enjoys dancing, cooking, legislative advocacy, and spending time at the beach. She has two adult children: her daughter, Alex, who works in digital and social media, and her son, Kale, a student at UNC Chapel Hill.
