

Pete is a trial lawyer with a wide-ranging practice focused on representing parties in complex civil litigation matters in state and federal courts and before administrative bodies. He enjoys guiding clients through difficult litigation as well as the Alternative Dispute Resolution process, including mediation and arbitration. Before rejoining the firm, Pete represented employers, both public and private, in insurance defense cases.
Pete received his B.S. in Environmental Geography from the United States Military Academy, where he was a four-year varsity letterman on the Army swimming team. After graduating from West Point, Pete served five-years in the United States Army as a Field Artillery Officer. Pete received his J.D. from Campbell University, where he served as a Teaching Assistant for 1L Legal Research and Writing classes and received the Book Award for Bankruptcy Reorganizations.
In his free time, you can find Pete in the outdoors somewhere. He is passionate about hunting and fishing, an unexceptional golfer, and likes to snowboard. On the weekends, Pete and his beautiful wife, Hillary, love to play fetch with their yellow lab on Lake Norman.
