Area of Focus
Melanie Larkins is a Partner in the Greer and Spartanburg offices of King Law. Her practice focuses on elder law, with particular emphasis on estate planning and probate administration. She works with individuals and families to help them plan for the future, protect assets, and navigate the legal process of administering estates with clarity and care. Her practice is centered on providing practical, compassionate guidance during some of life’s most important planning and transition moments.
Professional Background
Melanie earned her Bachelor of Science in Marketing from North Greenville University before obtaining her Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law. During law school, she distinguished herself academically and professionally as the research editor-in-chief of the Journal of Law and Education and participated actively in the peer mentorship program, reflecting both her leadership and commitment to supporting fellow students.
Community and Personal Life
Outside of her legal practice, Melanie enjoys spending time with her husband, Trent, and caring for their golden retriever puppy, Leia. She values time with family and brings that same sense of care and connection into her professional life and client relationships.
