Madison Root (she/they) is a passional Family Law Attorney living in Asheville, NC. Madison represents clients in all family law matters as an attorney at King Law, with a special interest in helping LGBTQ+ families.
Madison attended Penn State Law and graduated with their J.D. cum laude and was awarded concentrations in both “Families, Children, and the Law” and “Race, Law, and Equity.” Madison graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a B.A. in Political Science.
Madison was the President of the Mindfulness in Law Society during her time in law school and has been formally recognized for their extensive work in Public Interest Law.
When not at work, you can find Madison with her dog, son, and fiancé exploring nature around Asheville or enjoying live music.
