Katie Becker is an Associate Attorney with King Law. Katie works from the firm’s offices in Shelby, North Carolina and surrounding counties, focusing primarily on family law.
Katie knew early on she wanted to be an attorney but followed a non-traditional path. She spent six years as a litigation paralegal, and later attended law school at night while working full-time in Corporate America and raising three sons as a single mom. Katie understands firsthand the emotional and legal complexities of family law issues and the importance of meeting clients where they’re at. Katie strives to develop strong rapport with her clients, and she knows that the best client relationships are built on kindness, integrity, and mutual accountability.
When she isn’t lawyering, Katie is a voracious reader, enjoys hiking, gardening, hunting treasures at thrift and antique stores, and spending time with her adult sons.
