Allie Bushelli is a Partner in King Law’s Hendersonville, North Carolina office, serving families and seniors throughout western North Carolina. Her practice focuses on estate planning and elder law, and she also serves as Vice Chair of the firm’s Transactional Law Practice Area Group. Allie guides clients in creating thorough plans to carry out their wishes, minimize legal burdens for loved ones, and protect assets for future generations. Her estate planning work includes wills, clearly outlining how property and responsibilities will be handled; powers of attorney, naming trusted decision-makers for financial and health care matters; trusts, structuring trusts for asset protection, tax efficiency, or long-term support for beneficiaries; Lady Bird Deeds, allowing property owners to retain control during life while simplifying transfer at death without probate; guardianships, helping families protect loved ones who can no longer manage their affairs; and probate and estate administration, assisting executors and administrators in navigating the legal process efficiently.

Allie also has a strong passion for elder law, a field focused on the legal needs of older adults and their families. Elder law often overlaps with estate planning, but it also addresses challenges that arise later in life, such as long-term care planning, developing strategies to ensure quality care without depleting a lifetime of savings; Medicaid planning, guiding clients through eligibility requirements and protecting assets when possible; guardianships for seniors, helping protect older adults who can no longer make decisions independently; and powers of attorney and health care directives, ensuring trusted individuals can make important choices on a client’s behalf.
