Have you ever wondered what a lawyer really does while working on your file? Have you ever received a bill showing how much you owed, but nothing explaining why you owe it?
Here at King Law Offices, PLLC, we are very transparent. I love this about our law firm and I have never heard a client complain about it either! Every time we work on a client’s case, we input what is called a “time entry” in that client’s file. The time entry tells exactly what we did while working on the client’s file and exactly how long we took to do it. Our time entries are required to be very detailed, making sure everything we did while working on the client’s file is documented. This helps when a paralegal or another attorney needs to work on the file, because they can pull up every time entry that has been put into the client’s file and see exactly what work has already been done.
The greatest benefit from this system is that the client has access to this information as well. Each week, our firm sends every client a copy of that week’s time entries. As a result, the client receives a weekly update of exactly what has been done on their file, as well as how long it took the attorney to do it. We will never leave a client with any questions about exactly what is being done on their file, which attorney or paralegal is doing it, and how long it took them to do it.
Not only does King Law provide excellent attorneys and staff, we also provide our clients with weekly updates. If you want an attorney that is very transparent and one that will not leave you wondering what is actually being done on your case, then give our office a call. We will keep you up-to-date on exactly what is happening in your file throughout the entire process. We will be glad to assist you with any legal needs you may have.
